Christmas time :D

And again it's been ages since I've posted in my blog. Don't know why but I just keep forgetting it. (not that I think many people read it)

So, december is closing in once again. This sunday will bring the lighting of candles and dressing of houses for many, including myself. I just loooooove christmas. <3>
So when sunday comes, I'll put on some lovely x-mas music and start dressing the livingroom with all manners of x-masy stuff. Really can't wait. *clap hands*

Have a lovely x-mas season everone :D

Summer is here!

Summer is finally here, and what a start! Lovely sunny weather and temperatures bordering 30*C.

I really don't have much to write about to be honest. Nothing much has happened.
But I can give a quick summary:

- Kittens are ready to be given away (yay!)
- My pc is ready to be picked up (Finally! Just need the time of work to do it)
- Got new glasses.
- My lovely boyfriend bought us a trip to Rhode City, so we're leaving on the 26th of july. (luv luv)
- Oh.... and it didn't rain last week :D

Soccer! or Football if you will.

Hacven't had the chance to blog much lately... /sob. My laptop is all messed up >.< It just refuses to work, and I still can't afford a new pc just yet. Oh well....

At work right now :/ Just want this work day to be over so I can get in the car and drive back to my hometown. Me and my b/f got tickets to a soccer match, but time's going to be short when I get off work. I really really really want to make it. And I really hope "my" team wins. Cause I'm rooting for the home-team (IK Start) and he (hahaha) is rooting for the away-team (Odd Grenland). The ride home could get very interseting, depending on which team wins of course. :D And we all know how's gonna win (or at least I do...) IK Start!!!!

Be safe ya'll.

The Columbine effect...

I just can't believe it! We just had the countries first attempt at a school shooting... And it was by a 9 year old kid,,, NINE!
This is what you get for letting kids watch the news. Apparently the kid had an arguement with another boy at school the day before.

And you all know the first thing that's going to happen: Computer games will get the blame. Never mind the parents, the news or other things in his life... No, games is the sinner, it has to be!

If anyone wonders what I mean with the headline: it's quite simple. First school shooting that got a massive coverage in the media was the Columbine shooting, then I think it was the Virginia Tech one and after a while it spread to Europe... And now it's here.

I do not think this shooting had anything to do with videogamess, I think it's just a domino effect from the first shooting. Kids hear about it in the media, get to watch it over the internet and voilà, an idea is planted. "If other kids do it, why can't I?"
The whole "it's computer games that's to blame" thesis is based upon the idea that kids aren't smart enough to tell the real world and games apart. I think that's utter bullcrap!

I could write on and on about this, but not in english... so this will have to do.

Springtime and BBQ!

Isn't it lovely when you got a week off from work and the weather is summer-like? (Of course it is, it was a retorical question silly!)
And it's even better when you get to have a BBQ every day of said week. :)
Today is porkchop day. With the porkchops we'll have rice, bernaise, potatosalad, corn and some other BBQ essentials. Can't wait. *squeeeee*

Got my hair cut and coloured today, so now I'm a redhead. :)
Was really nice to get a proper hairdo for once. Since I'm trying to let my hair grow it's all over the place most of the time and I can't do anything with it. >.< But now I can ! *angelic choir*

Anyways, that's me signing out cause dinners ready :)

Enjoy the weekend. xoxox Val

KIttens and computers....

I'm really starting to get upset about my future PC. Every paycheck I think; "Yes, this time it's going to work, I can afford it this month." and every paycheck there has been an unsuspected bill of some sort. Wether it's the car insurrance or phone bill it basically renders me unable to pay for my PC, thus I'm not getting it that month (not this one either).
Not sure about next month either, because the people "managing" the country saw fit to make sure I had to pay more taxes. So the next time I get payed 40% of my earnings go back to the government.... I'm 22 years old damnit! I'm not supposed to pay more in taxes then my parents. /sigh....

Got 2 good news though, at least good news for me. :)

Lucky, my cat, gave birth to three really cute kittens on tuesday :D
Think it's 3 girls (might be wrong, gotta wait till they're a bit older to be sure), one's black and the two others are silver tabby's. They're soooooo cute. Going to try to get some pictures up if I can just find the right cable for my camera (it's gotta be somewhere in the house.)

The other good news is that in september me and my parents are of on a weeks holiday to.... *drumroll* Crete!!! And without my baby brother (I say baby, but he's 19 years old and 2 meters high...). I can't wait! Gonna take so many pictures that I can fill 2 albums at least :D
We're staying at : Have a look :)

In other news:

- Bought a pair of rollerblades on tuesday (got to take em for a "spin" as well, was well fun.)
- Had the seasons first BBQ last weekend. Yum yum. :)
- Last week my then pregnant cat managed to get herself chased up a tree and we had to get her down. (it was a really tall tree as well)
- Got some very nice plans for saturday; a nice roadtrip, a walk in the park with my aunt and a nice meal and dessert when we get back home.

Happy Easter (almost :P)

Yes yes, I know I'm terrible at updating these things, I should be better. Part of the problem is that my laptop isn't working as intened at the moment. Keeps crashing on me. Will hopefully get an über PC soon :)

Since last I wrote we've gotten a cat: Lucky. She is really cute, about 8 months old now. And she might be pregnant. (I really hope she isn't though, she's too young)
And we've settled into the house now, still looks a bit messy, but it's home :)
Oh, and I've finally picked up my car and started using it. <3 Toyota <3

In WoW news: My hunter is now 80 (yay), but not very well geared sinced my laptop crashed before I got around to raiding..... /sob
Oh, and I left Loki... for many different reasons really, none which I wish to post in this blog.
And I have joined Children of Twilight, will hopefully get to raid with them soon. (need to get a bit more money for the pc first though)

I've also been listening to podcasts a lot when I'm at work, and I have totally fallen in love with Blue plz!, it's awesome. TB is just so ruipe with sarcasm :) I'm just worried that he forgets to breath sometimes, that man can talk for 2 hours straight (true!); and I don't think he draws his breath except for during the musicbreaks.....
He has a blog on here too, think it's called Blog plz! Check it out :)

That's all for now, Val signing out.
